Dal’Ouna Ensemble

The Dal’Ouna Ensemble is a group of musicians from the West Bank in the Middle East. They have performed concerts around the world. Itsr founder, Ramzi Aburedwan, was the subject of the book “Children of the Stone,” which tells the tale of Aburedwan’s life as a child growing up in a Palestinian refugee camp and him using music as a way out of the poverty and violence. Author Sandy Tolan and Aburedwan joined Ross to discuss the book, his music and their concert Friday at the Ramallah Club.
